Once you become a mother, it is more about the baby and less about you. Ever since Ali is born, my skin care has taken a set back. It is like one day I put a moisturizer and 2 days I forget. There is no such thing like a skincare routine in my life. But now as Ali growing up, I have started spending some time for myself. I have been trying out some new skin care products which includes some products from the brand Vanya Herbal. The first one which I’ll be reviewing today is Vanya Herbal Haldi Clear Tulsi & Turmeric Oil Face Cleanser.
I’m not a person who likes foaming cleansers. I like creamy, less lathering face washes or cleansing milk. When I first saw Vanya Herbal Haldi Clear Tulsi & Turmeric Oil Face Cleanser, I thought it is an oil clearing cleanser which would lather a lot. But, to my surprise, it doesn’t lather at all. It is more like a cleansing milk. The consistency however is of a light, fluffy cream. You know there are a few face washes, although meant for all skin types, leaves a dry, stretchy feeling behind after use? This one doesn’t. It leaves a nice moisturizing feel, like that of a cleansing milk.
Coming to the fragrance, Vanya Herbal Haldi Clear Tulsi & Turmeric Oil Face Cleanser smells exactly like tulsi and I can say that very confidently because I have tulsi plant at home. If you like herbal sort of smell in your cleanser, you would like it’s smell. The smell is not at all bothersome for me. In fact, I really like it. It is actually quite l refreshing. If you have used natural products, you must be aware of the slight tingling sensation that occur upon use. This cleanser also cause that tingling sensation which vanish after washing the face.
I have tried a few products from the brand and I must say, the products are quite effective. Vanya Herbal is a luxury ayurvedic brand so their products are a bit expensive, but they are all natural, so the price is apt. This Face Cleanser is priced at ₹795. In a nutshell, Vanya Herbal Haldi Clear Tulsi & Turmeric Oil Face Cleanser is a good ayurvedic cleanser which cleanses skin well without ripping off its moisture. It is all natural and hence a bit expensive. If you are looking for an ayurvedic, natural cleanser, you may give it a try.
