What I shopped from House of Koala | House of Koala Review

I’ve always been the guy who wears black more. Black t-shirts, black shirts, black jeans—it’s just easy and safe. I wanted a good pair of pants that could go with all my black stuff, and something in a different color for a change.

One evening I was scrolling through Instagram I came across this brand called House of Koala. The clothes looked pretty cool—nothing too flashy but still trendy. I thought if I’m ever going to try buying clothes online from a new brand, I might as well do it now. Plus, the stuff looked comfy. That’s how I ended up placing my first order from House of Koala. I was hoping it’d finally be the brand that gives me some new pieces to mix with my usual black outfits.

About House of Koala

So House of Koala is an Indian streetwear brand. They’re into modern, clean designs and trendy colors. From what I’ve seen, they have oversized t-shirts, linen co-ord sets, cargos, relaxed pants, textured jackets—lots of stuff that’s quite fashionable but still wearable.

What I liked is that their collection is not super loud. It’s streetwear, but subtle. Nothing with giant logos or crazy prints. Just good fabrics, nice cuts, and styles.

Shopping Experience – Website & Ordering

Their website is pretty nice and simple. I didn’t have to dig around to find stuff. Product photos were clean, and there were enough details about sizes, fabrics, and how to wash the clothes. I hate it when brands don’t give proper size info, so this was a big plus for me. The checkout process was smooth—no glitches, no hidden costs popping up last minute.

But honestly, the delivery part was a headache. My order got delayed for days because of Bluedart. The tracking wasn’t updating, and I had no clue where my parcel was. It started to get frustrating because I was excited to try my new stuff. I contacted bluedart but still it took me 4 more days to get my parcel at the doorstep

The Stuff I Bought

Unisex Oversized Olive Printed Drop-Shoulder Sleeve Pure Cotton T-shirt

Finally, the parcel showed up. The first thing I pulled out was an oversized olive green t-shirt. The quality felt superb right away. The fabric is thick but soft, and the stitching looks solid. The print on it is crisp and well done.

The only thing I didn’t expect was the color. On the website, it looked olive green, but in real life, it’s more like bottle green. Not a bad color at all—it still looks good, just different from what I had pictured. It’s quite oversized, but not in a sloppy way. I can easily wear it with jeans or shorts, or even under a jacket.

Olive Linen Blend Textured All Day Pants

The second thing I got was a pair of linen pants. Again, I was impressed with the quality. The linen pants feels light and airy, perfect for the heat. The stitching is neat, and there’s an elastic waistband which makes them super comfortable to wear. The color matched the website pretty well, though it’s a little lighter in person—but that’s okay. The fit is relaxed but doesn’t look untidy. I can see myself wearing them for casual outings or even slightly dressier occasions.

Conclusion

In the end, I’m happy I gave House of Koala a shot. Yes, the delivery delay was a pain, but the clothes themselves made up for it. The t-shirt and pants both feel great, look good, and fit into my style without me feeling like I’m trying too hard.

If you’re like me and you want clothes that are simple but still stylish, I’d say check them out. Otherwise, House of Koala seems like a solid brand, and I’ll probably order again.
